The cushions and table runners are made of fabrics from antique/vintage kimonos.  The very elegant Japanese silk textiles originated around the 15th century. The artisans developed many different ways of making designs: embroidery for lavish wedding  kimonos, Shibori, tie-dyed textiles, and Kasuri - ikat fabrics.
Luxurious  vintage and antique kimono silk will not be available forever. They represent a part of Japanese heritage and culture - the history and customs of bygone era.
These silk fabrics will brighten up the interior of your home.
